Laura Corr Awarded Baden Player Of The Year
The Tacoma Community College (TCC) Women's Soccer program is proud to announce that Laura Corr has been awarded the prestigious Baden Player of the Year for the 25-26 Women's Soccer season by the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC).
This honor recognizes Laura Corr's exceptional performance throughout the season, where she emerged as the leading goal scorer in the NWAC. Her contributions were pivotal in leading Tacoma Community College back to the NWAC Final Four, marking a significant milestone as TCC Women's Soccer secures this award for the first time since its inception in 2012.
Corr's performance this season was nothing short of spectacular. She led the NWAC in goals (18), points (41), and shots (81), showcasing her dominance on the field. Her efforts were instrumental in guiding the Titans to their best season since 2019, as they reached the semifinals. In a standout quarterfinal match, Corr played a critical role by scoring a goal and assisting another in a decisive 6-0 victory over Umpqua.
Throughout the season, Corr consistently demonstrated her scoring prowess with five multi-goal games. Notably, she delivered an impressive three-goal, one-assist performance against Pierce on October 22 and achieved another hat trick on September 20 against Lower Columbia.
Congratulations to Laura Corr on her well-earned recognition. Her outstanding achievements have brought great honor to the Tacoma Community College Women's Soccer program.
