TUKWILA, Wash. — The Tacoma Community College Titans and the Highline College Thunderbirds, ranked #1 and #2 in the West Region respectively, played to a 0-0 draw at Starfire on Wednesday afternoon, with neither team managing to capitalize on their combined 13 shots.
Olivia Meyer recorded two saves and achieved a shutout in her 90 minutes as goalkeeper. Ivy Korbal led the team with three shots, although none were on goal. Amelia Recardo contributed with one shot, while Josie Harris also added a shot to the team's efforts.
Caitlyn McKenzie played a crucial role in goal for the Thunderbirds, securing a shutout with three saves across 90 minutes of play. Alexa Galmichi led the offensive efforts with two shots, although none were on target. Additionally, Ariana Mercado, Mae Beck, Raighen Wendler, and Ximena Salmoran each contributed with one shot, all missing the target.
