Tacoma defeated Rogue Community College 6-0 in Salem, Oregon, on Tuesday, with Tacoma scoring three goals in each half. This match marked the first day of the NWAC Friendlies tournament and was the first game of the pre-season, making it a nice way to kick off the competitive schedule with a win.
Railee Hutton led Tacoma with a hat trick, scoring three goals, including the game-winning goal. Mercedes Baltazar contributed significantly with one goal and one assist. Laura Corr and Emma Hoover each added a goal to the team's performance. In goal, Olivia Meyer recorded a shutout with three saves in 90 minutes of play.
