Nathan Coyle is the NWAC Player of the Week
Nathan Coyle, a freshman forward from Tacoma Community College, has been named the NWAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the period of October 20-26.
During the award week, Coyle contributed significantly to Tacoma's victories. In a commanding 5-0 win over Pierce, he scored two goals on just two shots, showcasing his efficiency and scoring prowess. He continued his impressive performance by assisting twice in an 8-2 victory against Centralia, further underlining his ability to both score and set up goals.
Coyle's tactical movement and one-on-one skills were highlighted by Head Coach Jason Gjertsen, who stated, "Nathan was a big part of our attack this week. His constant movement off the ball as well as brilliant 1v1 attacking made it hard for the defenses to slow him down. Nathan is coming into his own and it's fun to watch."
As a first-year player from Silas High School, Coyle's contributions have been vital to Tacoma's offensive strength, leading to their success this past week.
The team will finish conference play this weekend against Highline.
Go Titans!
