MSOC loses to Clark 2-1 in late game goals
TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma was narrowly defeated by Clark with a final score of 2-1 on Wednesday. Despite leading in shots on goal with 9 compared to Clark's 7, Tacoma managed only one goal in the second half, while Clark capitalized with two late goals to secure the victory.
The first half began with Tacoma establishing an early offensive presence with a corner kick by Davyd Fedina in the third minute. Tacoma's Taylor Pierce tested Clark's goalkeeper, Patrick Murphy, in the 12th minute, but the shot was saved. Despite multiple attempts on goal, including shots by Fedina, Porter Herbig, Brody Smith, and Bracken Overby, Tacoma was unable to find the back of the net, with several attempts going wide or high.
