TCC Claims Victory Over Grays Harbor College 57-46
Tacoma, Wash. — Tacoma Community College triumphed over Grays Harbor College with a 57-46 victory, thanks to a powerhouse second half. TCC's defense shone brightly with seven blocks, securing their lead throughout the game.
The action kicked off with Donovan Gill sinking a layup, assisted by Amare Brown, putting TCC on the board first. GHC quickly answered with a 3-point play from Jackson Lusk, keeping things tight early on. Midway through, Jakoi Lide took charge with a flurry of scoring, including a layup and a jumper, sparking a 6-point surge for TCC. As the half wound down, Gill nailed a clutch 3-pointer, pushing TCC ahead by seven with a score of 26-19.
In the second half, TCC's defense continued to dominate, stretching their lead to a commanding 17 points. Lide was instrumental again, with a layup bolstering TCC's momentum. Gill's steady scoring, highlighted by a layup assisted by Dylan Wiggins, kept the Titans firmly in control. Despite a late effort from Baaroc Rivers of GHC, with a layup and free throw combo, TCC held strong and sealed the game at 57-46.
