TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma Community College (5-8) fell to Bellevue College (13-2) with a final score of 74-53 on Friday evening. Bellevue's superior rebounding, with a total of 50 boards compared to TCC's 30, contributed significantly to their victory.
Tacoma opened the game with an early lead, as Adem Yagmur scored on a layup at 18:41. Donovan Gill added a three-pointer at 13:25 to keep TCC ahead 13-9. However, Bellevue responded with a strong offensive effort, highlighted by Isaiah White's consecutive free throws at 10:48, pushing Bellevue to a 17-13 lead. As the half progressed, Sawyer Cottrell's three-pointer at 7:41 extended Bellevue's advantage, and Max Mayo's three-pointer at 1:07 secured a commanding 41-24 lead.
