Baseball Season Preview
**TCC Baseball 2025-26 Season Preview**
As TCC Baseball gears up for the 2025-26 season, the team looks to build on its consistent performance in the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC). Coming off a strong showing last season, where they finished 2nd in the NWAC for the third consecutive year with an overall record of 29-19 and a 17-7 mark in the West Region, TCC is ready to take on new challenges.
Returning to the fold is Carson Ackermann, an integral pitcher who also contributes to the offensive lineup. Joining him on the mound are Jake Rafferty and newcomers like Devin Tep and Brody Palmer, both left-handed pitchers, and Connor Speer, a right-handed pitcher. The infield will see the return of Braden Jones and Vaughn Lowe, with Ethan Mar also adding depth to the roster. Ty Iddon will continue to patrol the outfield. Meanwhile, new players have already started making an impact during the fall season, setting an optimistic tone for the year ahead.
The coaching staff has seen a notable addition with the hiring of pitching coach Cole Hatton, expected to bring valuable expertise to the team. Additionally, the team benefited from significant improvements to Minnitti Field, which underwent a resurfacing project in the fall of 2025. The new pro-grade infield promises to enhance the team's preparation and performance.
TCC's strategic game-by-game approach remains central to their philosophy, ensuring no game is overlooked. The season kicks off with a home opener against Skagit Valley on February 13th, setting the stage for what promises to be an engaging season.
As the 2025-26 season unfolds, TCC Baseball remains focused on its goals, supported by a blend of seasoned players, impactful newcomers, and a revitalized playing field. With an eye on the NWAC Tournament, the team is prepared to tackle the challenges ahead.
