Three Titans Awarded NWAC Scholarships
Tacoma Community College proudly announces that student-athletes Gabe Ramos, Emilia Linden, and Braden Jones have been awarded prestigious NWAC Scholarships for the 2025-26 season. These honors were celebrated at the NWAC Hall of Fame Banquet on June 4th, marking an important milestone in the academic and athletic careers of these outstanding students.
Gabe Ramos has been awarded the Gary Knutzen "Against All Odds" scholarship, which acknowledges a student-athlete who has overcome significant challenges to pursue their education and athletic endeavors. Gabe's perseverance has been exemplary, culminating in the completion of his Associate of Arts degree. He will continue playing soccer at Eastern Oregon University in the fall.
Emilia Linden, a sophomore volleyball player, received the Women's Sports Foundation scholarship. This award honors a sophomore female athlete who is advancing to play at a four-year institution. Emilia's commitment and skill have earned her a spot at the University of Utah.
Braden Jones was recognized with the Art Fiero scholarship, an honor designated for high-achieving second-year students with a minimum 3.50 GPA who are actively involved in campus or community activities. Braden has demonstrated leadership and excellence both on and off the field.
The collective achievements of these student-athletes reflect the strong culture of excellence and support at Tacoma Community College. This year's recognition builds on TCC's history of success.
